ChartFactor’s Airbnb analytics application demonstrates how interactive analytics can help bridge that gap. Built using public InsideAirbnb data, the application allows users to explore listing activity, pricing, estimated income, property types, licensing status, and host information through a highly interactive geographic experience.
As users zoom, pan, or select custom areas on the map, metrics update dynamically in real time. This creates a more natural and exploratory workflow, allowing users to investigate neighborhoods, compare areas, and identify trends directly through interaction.
The application also integrates broader real estate information for U.S. properties, providing additional market context alongside Airbnb activity data.
